Our History & Grounds

Nestled in the rolling hills of Verona, Kentucky, our vineyard is rooted in history and surrounded by the natural beauty of a working horse farm.

The Beginning

In 2005, family and friends came together to plant over 2,000 Chardonnay and Cabernet Franc vines. What started as a small passion project quickly grew into an estate producing award-winning wines. Over the years, we’ve added Dornfelder and Petit Verdot to the vineyard, creating bold red blends that showcase Kentucky winemaking.

The George-Vest House

Our property is home to the George-Vest House, built in 1842 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Restored with care, this historic home preserves its original woodwork and stands as a proud piece of Kentucky history.

The Grounds

The barn has been converted into our cozy tasting room, and the old dairy barn is now our winemaking facility. Surrounded by horse pastures and vineyards, Verona offers a peaceful countryside escape just minutes from the city.
